Poca Valley Bank encouraged the community to donate supplies for students.

With the support from employees, customers, and  local business owners, the Poca Valley Bank in Clendenin was able to donate several school supplies to H.E. White Elementary students in August.

Poca Valley Bank employees set up a school bus and urged others to help “fill the bus” with much needed supplies.  Pencils, paper, hand sanitizer, Clorox wipes, and much more items were donated throughout the month and delivered on the first day of school for students.  These supplies will benefit many classes at H.E. White through the school year.

It is a great feeling to live in a community where we can help one another and the Poca Valley Bank wishes for all the students to have a happy, healthy, and fun school year.

The supplies were delivered on the first day of school, and the students and staff were very appreciative!
Just some of the supplies that were donated by the community.
