Ashley was a member of the FFA chapter at her high school for all four years of school. In high school, Ashley was in a lot of contests and went to Nationals for land judging. Ashley’s ambition to work with youth is fueled to instill a passion for agriculture to keep the country thriving. to be able to show the younger generations what career opportunities are available. Ms. Cochran was completing her student teaching and in April of 2015 when Mr. Morris asked her to consider the job opening at CCHS. Shortly after that Ms. Cochran was hired to be the new Ag teacher at CCHS.
Ms. Cochran has several goals as a teacher here at CCHS. She wants to get an FFA Alumni set up so the HS chapter will have more guidance and support from those who have been through the program already. She also has a project for her students to work on called a tower garden so the students can raise vegetables for the cafeteria. Ms. Cochran wants to open more agriculture wise opportunities to the students of CCHS to show the potential they have. Welcome to Clay County Schools, we send you Good Luck and Well Wishes!
