Momma Payne takes an order.
Momma Payne takes an order.

If homemade food loaded with taste is what you crave, Momma Payne’s is the place for you!  Located on 12 Main Street in Clendenin, Momma Payne’s is a down home, just like grandma made, type of restaurant.  The cooking staff has over 75 combined years of culinary experience, which is evident when you taste anything on the menu.   Only fresh produce and the best ingredients are used to create these made from scratch treats for the taste buds.  Traditional food with an occasional twist, any appetite can be satisfied with a variety of options including a soup of the day, appetizers, sandwiches, wraps, salads, and a daily special.  This charming, sit-down, family style restaurant attracts crowds from near and far and even includes the occasional harmonica playing of Mr. Metheny, a frequenter of the establishment.  Open daily, Momma Payne would love for you to stop in, say hello and grab a bite to eat.  Call 681-230-2525 to get the day’s special and make a trip to this delightful little diner.  It will certainly be worth your travels.
