Greg Wagner of Maysel, West Virginia has just published the latest of his fictional creations. The first book is called “Dragons Don’t Grow On Trees – A Magical Tail”.
Take the sleepy little town of Fenton, West Virginia, where little has changed in the last 150 years. Add a big breasted diva, fireball wielding senior citizens, an ex hippie conservative republican warlock and a somewhat misguided “epic battle” between good and evil. Sprinkle liberally (pun intended) with gnomes, zombies, vampires, gremlins, winged horses and a whole host of other strange creatures, including a super intelligent were-maraner. Shake well, (literally) and you get a recipe for fun and mayhem.
The second is a children’s picture book called “The Adventures of Esme the Wonder Dog”. Join us as we meet and follow Esme the Weimaraner through her many adventures. Help us find Esme in the “Can you find Esme?” hidden pictures. Suitable for all ages, this book is geared for younger audiences, engaging, challenging, and entertaining them with the help of Esme the Wonder Dog.
Greg Wagner lives with his wife Roberta and their three dogs Esme, Abby, and Jackie, on the side of Wagner Mountain (actually more like a big hill) in Maysel West Virginia.
In between his many part time jobs and honey-do lists, Greg manages to find time to spin yarns of wonder and amazement. In whatever spare time is left over, Greg enjoys making glass beads (randgswv.com), reading, riding motorcycles and playing music.
Greg is working on a new book “The Sisterhood of the Rubber Ducky” (a comedy about three would-be female bank robbers) right now and plans to publish it early 2016, along with more episodes of the “Esme” books. His books are available on kindle or paperback and can be purchased at www.gregwagnerbooks.com or on amazon.com.
