On any given evening, Monday through Thursday, elementary students in Clay County have the opportunity to receive a free, delicious meal, homework help, and support in reading and mathematics; learn about good nutrition and participate in physical activities; and express their creativity through a wide variety of enrichment activities involving dance, music, arts and crafts, and technology. In addition, students are developing healthy social skills, learning with their friends. Activity buses ensure transportation is provided for students each evening. It’s all happening in the Clay Afterschool Program (CAP). Just see the fun students at Clay Elementary had in a single evening!
Using paper airplanes made the previous evening, students test the planes’ aerodynamics by measuring distance flown.
