Big Otter Elementary had a free “haircut day” for their students on Friday, Feb. 10. They would like to give a big thank you to their community barber and beauticians that volunteered their time and expertise to make this day possible- Kessel Lilly, Barber at Rt. 16 Barber Shop at Big Otter, Lynn Sears Murphy of Nebo, and Jordan Browning of Gassaway. They worked tirelessly throughout the day to provide cuts and styles for the 52 students that had parental consent to participate.
Kessel and Lynn also discussed career awareness and exploration in their disciplines with the fourth and fifth grades.
It was an exciting day at Big Otter Elementary!
