Fifteen grads commit to military

Those from the 2017 graduating class who have joined the a branch of the U.S. Military are as follows: Blake Belcher, Army; Jarod Hanshaw, Army; Mark Murphy, Army; Jacob Mullins, Army National Guard; Jordan Daniels, Army; Tim Neely, Army; Kayla Adkins, Army National Guard; Tristan Kent, Army; Kyle Salisbury, Army; Nataniel Rose, Army; Dakota Vaughan, Army; Austin Rose, Army; Tyler Runion, Army; Abby Gumm, Army National Guard (not pictured) and Austin Quinn, Army (not pictured).

This weekend will be the 2017 Graduation for Clay County High School. Many have chosen a college, technical college, or have other plans for their future.

Fifteen seniors have chosen to join our armed forces. Joining the military of the United States of America is a big commitment, and these students have chosen to become a part of the men and women dedicated to serving and protecting our country and our freedom.

Thank you for your choice to serve and protect our country! And, Thank you to all military, past, present and future!
