On January 31, around 5:20 a.m., Clay and Big Otter fire departments were dispatched for a structure fire on Big Otter Highway.

Units operated for six hours on the fire scene before returning to service. The home was a total loss. A big thank you to Station 30 for our lunch after the fire! Big Otter Engine 35 and Rescue 31, and Clay Eng. 86 responded No injuries were reported!

On February 1, Clay Fire responded with Big Otter for a rekindle on the Big Otter Highway. The fire appeared be throughout the floor on the structure. Crews worked for approximately two hours before returning to service.
Station 20 Eng. 86 and Utility 81, and Station 30 Eng. 35 responded.
