The probating of the following last wills and testaments were approved: Hazel Mathews Hanna, Everett Eagle, Sr., and Melba Butcher. Darlene Tanner was appointed administratrix DBN of the estate of Darrell Adkins. Christy Cliver was hired as a part time, as needed EMT-B for Clay Ambulance Service at the rate of $9 per hour.
Several board re-appointments followed, including David Pierson, Jr. as a citizen representative to the Regional Intergovernmental Council for a term expiring July 1, 2020, Joyce McLaughlin as a member of the Clay County Board of Health for a term expiring July 1, 2020, Stephanie Scott as a member of the Clay County Library Board for a term expiring June 20, 2020, Barry Curry and Ordy Holcomb as members of the Clay County Parks and Recreation Board for a term expiring July 1, 2018, Brian Moore as an at-large member of the Clay County Parks and Recreation Board for a term expiring July 1, 2018, Roberta Faile and Roger Hanshaw as members of the Clay County Business Development Authority for terms ending June 30, 2018 and finally Kenneth Tanner as a member of the Clay County Sheriff’s Civil Service Commission for a term ending June 1, 2019.
