The County Commission meeting on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 didn’t take much time to go over the action items on the agenda. After the meeting was called in session, the commissioners approved the confirmation probating the Last Will and Testament of Bethel C. Nichols, deceased and the appointment of Michael Lynn Nichols, Executor. The item to confirm probating the Last Will and Testament of Patsy Ann Dorsey and the appointment of Roger D. Dorsey, Executor was approved. The commissioners then approved a Request of Waiver of final settlement for the estates of Teddy Kermit Graham, Helen Louise Morris, Melba Butcher, Kenneth Lee Grose and Hazel Mathews Hanna, deceased.
For the final action item on the agenda, the commissioners voted and passed a proclamation naming September 17, 2015 as Constitution Day and September 13th -19th as Constitution Week in Clay County.
The committee reports were for the 911 committee and the BDA were of successful meetings. No details were discussed. The meeting was then adjourned and the next meeting will be Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 10:00am.
