Brooklyn Burford placed Third Runner Up at the Miss WV Teen USA pageant this past weekend.

Clay County’s very own Brooklyn Burford competed this past weekend in the Miss WV Teen USA pageant. Miss Burford was crowned as the Richwood Ramp Festival Queen in April of 2018.  She competed in the two-day pageant event held at the Creative Arts Center in Morgantown, WV in several different areas of competition.

Brooklyn is a student of Clay County High School and takes pride in her ability to maintain straight A’s throughout her school career.  From her personal interview, evening gown, and many other categories throughout the weekend, Brooklyn showed class and grace in every event.

Miss Burford walked away Sunday night with the Third Runner Up title and an experience she’ll never forget.  She says, “I am so blessed to have had the opportunity to compete in the Miss WV Teen USA pageant this weekend.  Thanks to everyone who took the time out their day to wish me good luck and supported me all the way.”

Congratulations Brooklyn Burford on your achievements and representing Clay County in such a positive way.
