Glenville State College student Heather Moore has received the Clark Jr. and Marjorie Hardman Scholarship through the College’s Department of Land Resources.

Moore, from Duck, is a senior studying Natural Resource Management.

“I was very happy and appreciative to learn that I was selected for the generous Clark Jr. and Marjorie Hardman Scholarship,” said Moore. “Thank you for this financial support toward my higher education. Receiving this scholarship allows me to maintain my GPA, complete my degree, and achieve my career goals.”

The Clark Jr. and Marjorie Hardman Scholarship was established in 2010 by Mr. D. Stephen Hardman to honor the memory of his parents, as well as recognize the important part GSC played in his parents’ education and their life’s pursuits and accomplishments. The award is given to a student who has displayed high academic achievement with an identified need for financial assistance.

For more information about the programs within the Department of Land Resources at Glenville State College, contact the Department of Land Resources at Land.Resources@glenville.edu or (304) 462-6370.
