Join in on the fun with the 49th annual Golden Delicious Festival in Clay
We have many local vendors that help us put on a great event every single year. We offer free admission for everyone thanks to the generous gifts from our amazing sponsors. We also have our annual parade with floats and bands, along with three beauty pageants for all age groups.

Thursday, September 15:
3 to 7 p.m. – Quilt Show at the Clay County Health Department Conference Room
6 p.m. – Opening Ceremonies: Flag raising from VFW Post 4419, Star Spangled Banner, Queen’s Coronation Ceremony, amusement rides open, and Quilt Show winners announced
Friday, September 16:
9 a.m. – Opening Ceremonies: Flag raising from VFW Post 4419, Quilt Show opens, sign-up deadline for business decorating contest (registration table at the courthouse). Big Otter Elementary Choir
9:30 a.m. – H.E. White Elementary Choir
10 a.m. – Lizemore Elementary Choir
10:30 a.m. – Clay Elementary Choir
11 a.m. – Clay Middle School Choir
11:30 a.m. – Clay Middle School Band
12 p.m. – Apple Bell Ceremony, amusement rides open
12:30 p.m. – Apple Bell Reception at Clay Senior Community Service Building
1 p.m. – Music by Terry Vaughan
2 p.m. – Music by Christopher Mullins
3 p.m. – Music by The Band Wagon, business decorating contest winners announced
4 p.m. – Magician T.J. Hill
5 p.m. – Music by the Clay Senior Services Singers, Quilt Show closes

9 a.m. – Pet Pageant Registration, registration table at the courthouse
9 a.m. – Flag raising by VFW Post 4419, Quilt Show opens, Car Show at Clay County Middle School parking lot
9:30 a.m. – Pet pageant
10 a.m. – Baking contest registration
11 a.m. – Music by Acoustic Fusion
12:30 p.m. – Baking contest winners announced
1 p.m. – Grand Feature Parade (amusement rides open after parade)
2 p.m. – Music TBA, pie eating contest, skillet flinging contest registration, corn hole competition registration
3 p.m. – Music by Marissa Truman, skillet flinging competition, corn hole competition
4 p.m. – Not So Newlywed Game
5 p.m. – CCHS Alumni Gathering at the CCHS Cafeteria
6 p.m. – Magician T.J. Hill
