Clay County Cleanup Day is April 27

There will be a Clay County Cleanup Day on Saturday, Apr. 27, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until all trucks are full across from Pierson’s Lumber, on Route 16 just below the Clay County Bus Garage. This event is sponsored by the Clay County Solid Waste Authority. 

Allowed items:

-Empty appliances

-Lawn mowers

-Car and ATV batteries

-Small engines (free of fluids)

-Microwaves

-Furniture and mattresses

-TVs and electronics

-Anything metal

-Tires will be accepted at Clay County High School

Not allowed items include propane tanks, household trash, vehicles, and contractor or business trash. 

You are responsible for unloading your vehicle or trailer. No early drop offs (possible prosecution if this is done) and NO business or contractor may participate.
