A motion to approve the minutes from the previous meeting was approved. A motion to approve the resignation/retirement of Jeff Nestor as Band Director at Clay County High School, effective immediately, was approved. A motion to approve the resignation of Bette Ware as Middle school/Elementary Counselor, effective August 14, 2017 was approved. A motion to approve the resignation/retirement of Lavern Taylor as teacher at Lizemores Elementary School and H.E. White Elementary School, effective October 21, 2017 was approved. A motion to approve the resignation of Mildred Bullard as Cook III at Clay Elementary School, effective immediately, was approved. A motion to approve the resignation of Quincy Potasnik as substitute teacher, effective immediately was approved.
A motion to approve the resignation of Karen Mance as substitute custodian, effective immediately, was approved. A motion to approve the resignation of Kimberly Mullins as contract driver (Ugly Run), effective immediately was approved. A motion to approve the transfer of Jennifer Koch from Cook II to Cook III at Clay Elementary School was approved. A motion to approve the employment of Dr. Michelle Samples as 21st Century Grant Director/Grant Writer, new position, was approved. A motion to approve the employment of Audra Thomas as Bard Director/Music/Choral Music teacher at Clay County High School was approved. A motion to approve the employment of Kasey Samples as Middle School/Elementary Guidance counselor: four days at Clay Middle School, one day Itinerant was approved.
