Parade crowd favorite S&B Trucking

Thanks so much to everyone who came and watched the Christmas parade!

There were several contests including a window decorating contest. To enter the contest, you had to pay $10. Money went to a flood survivor family.

The winner of the window decorating contest is Advantage Home Health Care. Second place winner is Clay Floral and Third place is Nine’s Barber Shop. There was also a UTV decorating contest that also cost $10. The money goes along with the money for the window decorating contest. The winner of the UTV contest is : Ridge Top Feed and Farm Supply (Carly Lynn Triplett). There was also a float decorating contest – it didn’t cost anything, it was just for fun.

Clay County Middle School Choir

Parade winners are: Emergency department winner: LVFD ambulance; crowd favorite : S & B Trucking (Sambo Townsend); most original: Fola Missionary Kids for Christ.

Thanks so much for everyone who participated. Organizers plan to hold the parade again next year. Christian Elliott gives a special thank-you to Leslie Taylor – it wouldn’t have been the same if you weren’t there. Also,

thanks to Clay County Middle School choir for singing at the courthouse before the parade and to Casie Boggs church for providing the hot chocolate.
