Clay County High School Class of 2021 graduate Trenton Holcomb represents Clay County as the 2022 Glenville Pioneer.  Trenton, son of Christi Holcomb and grandson of Denise Holcomb, was active in the Clay County High School band and FFA, has made his freshman year at Glenville an eventful one.

Trenton is a Criminal Justice Major and enjoys riding motorcycles, boxing, and working on vehicles in is free time.  He is an active member of eSports and in the Pioneer Shooting Club.  In the future Trenton would like to pursue his career in law enforcement as well as his dreams of opening his own business in car repair or a bakery.

Representing at the State Capital in late February, Trenton had the pleasure of meeting West Virginia’s representatives and watch as they voted on the bill to change Glenville to now having University status and being renamed Glenville State University.

Look for Clay County’s own Trenton Holcomb as he continues to serve as the Pioneer mascot.  Continue to represent Clay County well and congratulations and best wishes on all your future endeavors.
