Go-Mart, the West Virginia Lottery, and 97.5 WQBE  jointly sponsored a giveaway of Morgan Wallen tickets and a variety of other prizes.

By Betty Lee

It was a cold and blistery Tuesday evening last week, but that didn’t stop Clay County country music fans from braving the cold at a chance at winning Morgan Wallen concert tickets. Morgan Wallen will be performing on February at the Charleston Civic Center in Charleston.

Wallen is one of the biggest names in country right now, with ticket prices ranging from $350 to $1,000 or more. Ticket prices, combined with an almost sold out venue, made sure this ticket-winning event had a big turnout.  The West Virginia Lottery teamed up with 97.5 WQBE and Go-Mart to offer tickets to the concert of the year.

Clay Go-Mart was the place to be on Jan. 25, as for every $10 in lottery sales you could spin the wheel at a chance for prizes throughout the evening, including the two tickets. Many customers showed up for the event and made it a memorable night. Enduring the cold and snow paid off for many, especially Amanda Fleming, the winner of the much-desired prize.
