Dipanjan Debnath, MD, is joining Zeeshan Ahmad, MD; Paul M. Brager, MD; Salman S. Osman, MD; and Ather Syed, MD, at UHC Oncology, coming from Allegheny Health Network Cancer Institute in Pittsburgh
Dr. Debnath’s educational journey began with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS) from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, India.
He went on to his residency in Internal Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Washington Hospital Center, Washington, DC. His fellowship at AHN Cancer Institute was in hematology and oncology. His area of interest includes plasma cell disorders, lymphoid malignancies and breast cancer.
His contributions to professional publications have been extensive, as has his involvement in presentations at medical meetings.
He is board certified in internal medicine and board eligible in medical oncology and hematology. Professional organizations in which he is a member include the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Hematology and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
