The Annual Clay County Schools Alumni Luncheon (not the same as the Alumni Dinner at the High School) will be held at Harding’s Family Restaurant in Mink Shoals, Wednesday, September 16, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the conference room to the left when you first enter the building. This is also the Golden Delicious Festival in Clay so it’s a good opportunity for out-of-towners who are coming to the festivities to join us.
This gathering is for ANYONE who attended a school in Clay County, West Virginia, whether you graduated from CCHS or not. It is an opportunity to meet with fellow classmates from different school years, meet new friends, share stories, photos, yearbooks, articles, etc., from school days. We eat, talk, laugh, and have a really good time reminiscing.
Generally, we have about 20 folks who show up, and it’s different people each year who attend. Lunch is paid by each individual attendee. Harding’s offers a special lunch menu for our group, and they take cash and credit/debit. Casual dress.
