We want to thank all in the community and beyond for their great response to the VFW Buddy Poppies sale.

VFW Post 4419 lost their meeting place, records, and equipment in the flood last year.  All financial aid is helping us get back on our feet.  We currently are meeting the second and fourth Monday of each month at 7 p.m. at the Clay Senior Center at Two Run.

The Buddy Poppy sale took place in downtown Clay on Friday, May 26, after the Memorial Day ceremony at the Clay County Courthouse.  We invite all war veterans to come and join with us at our meetings.  All you need is a DD214 and payment for a one year membership.  Already a member?  Come back and join with us at our meetings. The next meeting will be held June 26.
