Clay County High School will host the annual “Picnic in the Parking Lot,” sponsored by Northgate Baptist Church.
Come out on Thursday, July 20, at 6 p.m. and enjoy great food and fellowship for the entire family. Live music by Alan “Cathead” Johnston, a West Virginia folk singer, who is a native McDowell County mountain man, will set the stage for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. Drawings will be held throughout the evening for free gifts for both youth and adults. Come out and enjoy this free community event.
