Panther Relay Teams Place at Tournament

The CCHS track team participated in the LKC Championship Tournament this past week, one of the toughest in the state.  However, the team once again showed that they were not going to go down without a fight.  The team has some strong runners that will qualify for state competition, and they made their presence known at this tournament.  Trevor Armes once again placed high in the ranks of runners.  He placed 6th overall in the 400 meter.  The boys also placed 6th in the 4×200 meter relay, with a team consisting of Trevor Armes, Andy Jackson, Luke Young and Robert Daniels.  They placed 4th in the 4×400 relay, with a team consisting of Trevor Armes, Luke Young, David Tanner and Robert Daniels.  The track team has just one more meet before the state championships.  This Friday they will compete in the Region IV Championship held at Laidley Field.  Come out in support of the track team before the season ends. Some Panthers will definitely qualify for the state tournament.
