Vandalia Health’s Medicine in Motion initiative includes a sophisticated fleet of mobile medical units designed to break down the barriers of geography and transportation – bringing essential care directly to people who need it.

Lung cancer is the most diagnosed cancer among West Virginia residents. When cancer is found early with low-dose CT screening, patients can more often undergo minimally invasive surgery and have less lung tissue removed.

Vandalia Health’s Mobile Lung Cancer CT Screening and Mobile Mammography units will be at

Community Care – Big Otter, 797 Clinic Road Ivydale, July 15, from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

Vandalia Health Primary Care – Summersville, 702 Professional Park Dr. in Summersville July 21, from 9 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

A referral is needed to make an appointment. Contact your local provider for a referral or schedule a visit with a primary care provider. Patients need to bring insurance information.

The Mobile Lung CT, funded by Aetna Better Health of West Virginia, is staffed by experts and equipped with the same state-of-the-art digital imaging technology as you would get at a Vandalia Health imaging facility for quick, convenient, accurate screenings.
