A Memorial Celebration for Mary Florence Stephenson Hensley (April 12, 1930 – January 16, 2015) is planned for June 14 at 1 pm at the Wallback Methodist Church followed by light refreshments at the Newton Community Center.
Mary was the middle of 13 children of Martin Van Buren & Florence (Sizemore) Stephenson and was the last of her siblings to pass away. She taught in Clay County for 37 years and her love of all children was enormous. She is survived by her children: Vernon David Hensley, Juanita Hensley Lutz Mayes, Karen R. Boggs and daughter-in-law Cheryl Nichols and her grandchildren: Jason M. Boggs, Stephen J. Hensley, George D. Lutz, Amy M. Boggs, Rebecca K. Hensley, Kirsten D. Lutz, Amanda L. Mitchem and Mariah C. Marling. Please come join us in sharing memories of the love, praise and laughter gifted to us all through the blessing of having shared life with this beautiful, amazing woman. Mary Florence Stephenson Hensley
