Have you ever thought about the career you want when you grow up? What about if your likes change or if life’s situations change and you aren’t what you thought you would always want to be? Some people choose to be a nurse, a doctor, a barber or even a news reporter. Some choose to be a log truck driver. Justin Elliott, owner and operator of JC Trucking is a log truck driver. Log truck drivers pick up logs at the log landing where loggers bring trees after they cut them down. After the log truck driver picks up the logs, they haul the logs to the saw mill to either be sawed into boards to build houses or furniture or it is cut up to make chip wood. If it weren’t for log truck drivers then there wouldn’t be a way for the logs to get to the saw mill to be used for things. JC Trucking as well as many other log truck drivers are the middle man between the loggers cutting the trees down to the saw mill. Justin enjoys hauling logs and its one way he supports his family. Just like any other occupation, if you enjoy your job, you never really go to work. It’s good to have an occupation you enjoy!
