Jim and Elaine Lennox were married on Valentine’s day 1968 in Pearisburg, VA.

In December of 2014, Elaine’s brother, Frank Given, passed away from a heart attack while deer hunting. In July of 2015, their daughter, Tina Marie Witt, died of a brain tumor. In June 2016, their home was destroyed by the flood. Jim served in the US Army and is a 100% disabled Vietnam Veteran. They have four wonderful grandchildren, Kennah and Trent Hinkle (Joyce’s children), and Olivia and Nathan Witt (Tina and Brad’s children) But, through it all, their love prevailed with the help of God through Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior! The accompanying photo is a Facebook post from their daughter, Joyce Lennox.

Happy Anniversary to the greatest couple I know! They have been through so much over the years and still going strong – me and Tina were so lucky to have two amazing parents that loved each other so much! They made it look so easy! Happy 50 years!
