Lincoln County will be holding Hillbilly Days on September 3rd – September 6th, 2015 at the Lincoln County Memorial Fairgrounds, just off Rt. 3 at Trace Creek, Hamlin, WV. Admission will be $10.
Thursday the special event will be a Demolition Derby for Small Cars at 7:30pm.
Friday at 7:30pm there will be Monster Truck Freestyle Action show and Monster Truck Rides for $5. At 8:30pm Friday evening the Country Band “Coal Fired” will be performing.
Saturday the gates open at 10:00am for a fun filled day. At 11:00am, there will be greased pig chases for different age groups, sack races, water balloon tosses, and frog jumping; all located at the barn. At 1:00 pm there will be a mud run with sign ups to participate from 10:00am – noon, and at 8:00pm the “Dog Holler Band” will be performing.
Sunday will be the last day of Hillbilly Days and will feature Bluegrass music from Jim & Valerie Gabehart at 1:00pm and a horse show at 2:00pm.
