H.E. White Students Raise Money for St. Jude Children’s Patients

Students at H.E. White Community School raised $237 for patients at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by participating in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon.  The money raised by these students helped to cover the cost of a red blood cell transfusion for a patient.
For more than 35 years, the St. Jude Math-A-Thon, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, has been America’s largest education-based fundraiser. To participate, kids in grades K-8 ask family and friends for pledges to solve math problems in the St. Jude Math-A-Thon Funbook, developed by Scholastic.
