Fiscal Year 2012·2013
Funds carried over from Fiscal 2011-2012: $7101.25
Received in donations: $645.00
Another $40.00 was restored to the account by the bank for charges that were improperly applied to our account.
$1000.00 was paid for mowing done in the period of January-June, 2013.
We are left with $6746.25 for fiscal year 2013-2014.
A meeting of the Hively Cemetery Association held June 8, 2013, at Connie’s Restaurant, Clay WV. Trustees voted to add two more trustees to the Board. The current Trustees are Kay Ikerd, Harley Rogers, Norma Darr, Jerry Linkinogger, Randy Fitzwater, Ronnie Hanshaw, and Rodney Bullard. Rogers was elected to the office of President, and Norma Darr was re-elected Secretary. Kay Ikerd was re-elected Treasurer. He had done this job voluntarily for the past several years.
All donations should be mailed to Kay Ikerd at 5231 KanawhaAve., SE, Charleston, WV,25304. Please make checks out to the Hively Cemetery Association, and write FOR DEPOSIT ONLY on them. Cemetery members say they are pleased to be getting a receipt for every donation.
Rodney Bullard closed the old cemetery account with the Clay County Bank, and a new Hively Cemetery Association account was established by Kay Ikerd with Norma Darr. The donation boxes on the cemetery gate and fence are no longer to be used. Please do not leave cash or checks in those boxes.
