Eighth Annual Shawn Michael Memorial Coon Hunt

The Eighth Annual Shawn Michael Memorial Coon Hunt will take place on Saturday, October 26, 2013 at the Dundon Hill Boy Scout Camp in Clay, WV. The hunt is sponsored by the Clay Co. Coon Hunter’s Association.
The Bench Show is at 4 pm; Treeing contest at 5 pm; Dash contest at 6 pm; Biggest Coon Hunt – 7:30 pm to 2 am. Bench, Treeing and Dash contests are $3 each if not entering the Biggest Coon Hunt. Entry fee is $15 per person, or $20 per person to participate in all contests. The deadline for registration in the Hunt is 7 pm.
Hunters will hunt in groups of 2 to 4 (pick your own group). One dog per person. Registered or non-registered dogs may participate. Trophies will be awarded to winners of each contest.
Hunting regulations must be observed.
There will be concessions, 50/50 drawing, door prizes and raffles. All proceeds go to the Shawn Michael Memorial Scholarship Fund. For more information call: Dawn Whiteley 304-332-5018. All coon hunters are welcome.
