The Clay County Sheriff’s Department, upon the direction of Chief Deputy Robert Belt implemented an Operation County Line, November 23, 24 and 25 from 4:00pm to midnight, where Deputy Kyle Ware and Deputy Tyler Caruthers did patrol at 2 hour increments in the areas of Duck, Nebo, Ivydale, Big Otter, Widen, Dille, Queen Shoals, Procious, Lizemore, Wallback and Valley Fork. The Clay County Sheriff’s Department is hoping to continue with this effort of keeping the roadways
safe for the citizens of Clay County.
