Clay County Residents Receive Honor Awards at GSC

Two Clay County residents were recognized at the 2015 Glenville State College Honors Convocation Ceremony. The annual event took place following a banquet in the Mollohan Campus Community Center Ballroom. GSC President Dr. Peter Barr welcomed attendees to the event and Provost Dr. John Peek presided over the awards ceremony.
Julie Greenlee received a certificate from the Department of Business for her outstanding work in marketing education (5-adult), her major area of study. Greenlee completed her degree at GSC in May 2015 and plans to earn a master’s degree in the future. She resides in Duck.
Courtney Cole received a certificate from the Department of Fine Arts for her outstanding work in music education (PreK-adult), her major area of study. Cole served as the field commander of the 2015-2016 Pioneer ‘Wall of Sound’ Marching Band and plans to attend graduate school for music. She is from Lizemores.
