Catherine Nottingham is a senior English major and Military Science minor at Glenville State College and served as one of the senior princesses for the GSC 2013 homecoming court. She is the daughter of Gary Nottingham of Duck (Clay County), West Virginia. Cat is a member of the Student Government Association and ROTC. She is already serving in the Army National Guard. After graduation, she plans to become an active duty military police officer in the Army National Guard. Cat appreciates the interest that professors take in the students and how friendly everyone is on campus. She puts it best when she says, “GSC might be small, but it has a lot of heart.” She and the other court members presided over the GSC homecoming events that took place from Monday, September 30th through Sunday, October 5th. The theme of this year’s homecoming festivities was ‘That 70’s Ville.’ The theme honors the 1973 NAIA National Runner-Up Football Team from Glenville State College.
