Clay County Middle School Cheerleading Tryouts

CCMS cheerleading tryouts for the 2015-2016 school year will be held August 10 and 11 in the gym at Clay County Middle School. August 10th from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. will be used as a clinic to teach a hello cheer and a dance required for tryouts. You must attend the clinic to tryout. Actual tryouts will take place on August 11 starting at 1:00 p.m. Tryouts are closed to the public. Requirements to tryout:
**Physical form completed by a doctor required to attend the clinic. You cannot get on the gym floor without a completed physical form. **
Floor cheer with two jumps
Toe touch
Herkie
Hurdler
Cartwheel
Round off
Additional tumbling will qualify for extra points
Please make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes. Hair should be in a ponytail away from the face. No jewelry. You will be judged on appearance. Most importantly, come with a positive attitude and lots of spirit! Questions, contact Leslie (Pierson) Goe at 304.651.9895.
