Clay County High School Art Auction at Apple Festival

Clay County High School art display and art auction will be held at the Clay Co. Courthouse (Main Courthouse Stage) on Saturday, September 19. Art students will display and sell their art work at the Golden Delicious Apple Festival.
The art will be judged at 9 am, and public viewing is from 10 am to 12:30 pm. The auction will begin around 2 pm, immediately after the parade and will be conducted by Jeannie Davis. Come join us in the County Commissioners Room and view the student’s art work before the auction.
There will be donations from last year’s 2015 seniors sold at the Art Auction. These artists include; Kristie Taylor, Jena Hudson, Megan Johnson, Baylee Douglas, Shiann Smith, Brittany Cottrell, Ashley McCracken, Mckinleigh Johnson and Destiney Truman, . (Don’t miss out! These donations will be the last piece of art by these students to be sold at the Apple Festival Art Auction.)
2015/16 art students with art pieces to be auctioned will be: Art III; Autumn McMillion and Ashley Aiello. Art II Logan Knopp, Taylor Adkins, Courtany Anderson, Sarah Boggs, Emily Cottrell, Tyler Duffield, Dakota Fugate, Jocelyn Garten, Emily Halsted, Jessica Lanham, James W. Morris, Zachary Myers, Courtney Nottingham, Rachel Phillips, Jessie Posey, Brittany Summers, Rebekah Thompson, and Katelyn Workman.
This years’ auction will also include a piece by: (Jenny McLaughlin and Alisha Angel) that were from last years’ donations.
We thank you for your past support and for future support of Clay County High School art students, and for furthering their interest in developing their artistic skills. Join us right after the parade!!!
