Clay County Fall Festival a Big Hit

Last Saturday the streets of Clay were turned into a Fall Festival for all to enjoy.  With crisp fall weather and plenty to do in town, the turn out for this event was great. You could smell the yummy food from the food trucks and enjoy the sound of live music as you strolled the streets, shopping with local vendors.

All day kiddos could participate in many activities including bouncy houses, a mechanical bull, face painting, games, and a meet-and-greet with police and fire trucks.  At 12:30 p.m. the grand parade hit the streets and featured ambulances, fire trucks, horses, queens, and so much more.  Kids lined the street for goodies from parade participants with excitement and smiles all around.

There was plenty to do for all.  Not only were there food trucks and vendors, but live music and cornhole were a must for attendees as well.  This event was hosted by The Shoppe: Altar’d Wood and Sassy Hattie’s and by Small Town Market.  Proceeds of this event will help the Clay County Mud Runners in their efforts to purchase Christmas presents for Clay County Children.
