The Clay County Solid Waste Authority and REAP hosted the annual Clay County Clean Up this past Saturday.

This is an event many in the county look forward to each and every year so they can ‘Spring Clean’ around their house and get everything looking nice for the warm weather. It also helps the county look better! Spring is a beautiful time of year with everything blooming, so it’s always a good feeling when you can clean up things that aren’t good anymore or can’t be used. This is a FREE event provided to the residents of Clay County and very much appreciated by the majority of the residents of Clay County!

Thank you to the many volunteers, the Clay County Solid Waste Authority, REAP, David Pierson for allowing his property to be the drop off location, and to the many others who aren’t known or wish to remain anonymous for your countless hours of hard work and dedication to make this event happen each year!
