Clay Afterschool Program (CAP) information released

The Clay Afterschool Program (CAP) begins Monday, October 16. The program will be offered four days per week, Monday through Thursday.

CAP will make it possible for students to be exposed to a wide variety of enrichment and tutoring opportunities. The afterschool program is designed to focus on strengthening Reading/Language Arts and Mathematics skills, as well as involving students in activities that promote physical activity and good nutrition. Students will also participate in enrichment opportunities, including STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and music) activities.

A free supper and transportation each evening will be provided for participating students. For the first time, individual buses will be provided for students at Big Otter Elementary, H.E. White Elementary, and Lizemore Elementary. Students must return the CAP registration form to their school in order to participate.  For more information, please contact the principal, site coordinator(s), or 21st Century Grant Director at the following numbers:
