Big Otter Elementary School recently held its fifth annual Brave Warrior Challenge. Students raced through an amazing obstacle course, danced on the field, and enjoyed popsicles afterward. With the help of friends, family members, and businesses, students also raised money for our school.
This year’s t-shirt was designed by 5th grade students Lyla Titus and David Ferrell. For the silly string challenge, 38 students silly stringed the principal, Mr. Boggs. The weekend top class challenge was Ms. Douglas’ 1st grade class. These students were rewarded by super-soaking Mr. Boggs with water while he rode his bike around the field. The overall top class was Mrs. Collins’ Kindergarten class. They received an all-day field day, popsicles, and pizza. The top students were 4th grader Harper Faulkner and Kindergartener Layla Brogan. These students each earned a Visa gift card.
A huge thank you to all of the volunteers and PTO for helping make the Brave Warrior Challenge a great success for our students! It’s a great day to be a Big Otter Brave!
