Marietta College’s Casey Lassiter, of Spencer, has been named to the fall 2016 dean’s High Honors list.

Lassiter is majoring in biochemistry and is scheduled to graduate in May of 2018. Lassiter is a graduate of Roane County High School.

Any full-time Marietta College student completing at least 15 credit hours with a grade point average of 3.75 or better in a given semester is recognized as a dean’s High Honors list student for that semester.

Located in Marietta, OH, at the confluence of the Muskingum and Ohio rivers, Marietta College is a four-year liberal arts college. Tracing its roots to the Muskingum Academy begun in 1797, the College was officially chartered in 1835. Today Marietta College serves a body of 1,200 full-time students.
