Barbara Jean Thacker, 64, of Duck, entered into rest Friday, January 15, 2016.
Born on September 28, 1951 in Clay, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Eunice (Rhodes) Thompson.
Barbara is survived by her daughter, Melody (Eric) Cunningham of Duck; sons, Sean (Lilly) Thacker of Clay and Joshua Thacker of Elyria, Oh; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brothers, Gerald Thompson of N.C.; Gary Thompson of Elyria, Oh; Randy Thompson of Clay; Larry Thompson of Charleston and Jack Thompson of FL; sisters, Virginia Kings of Marion, OH; Rosalie Thompson of St. Albans and Linda White of Elyria, Oh.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 19, 2016 at Wilson-Shamblin-Smith Funeral Home, Clay, with Minister Geoff Hamrick officiating. Burial will be in the Smith Cemetery, Duck.
Friends may call from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 18, at the funeral home.
