Half time was also the time to announce the 2022 Football Homecoming Queen and King of CCMS.   The cheerleaders lined up in formation to welcome the new queen and king to the field.  Nobody knew who it would be as the announcement is hush-hush affair.   The 6th, 7th and 8th grade princesses, along with their princes, strolled onto the field as each was announced.   Once they were all lined up on the field, it was time to announce the new 2022 CCMS Homecoming Football King; this year it was Keagen Sizemore.  Once he was crowned and pictures taken, it was time to announce the new queen. As the field went silent, the announcer called out, Miss Zoey Jones as the new 2022 CCMS Homecoming Football Queen.  Queen Jones graciously accepted the crown as CCMS principal Leslie Goe placed it on her head.  These newly crowned royalties of CCMS will no doubt wear their crowns well and represent the school with pride.  Congratulations to the new Queen and King and their court.  The homecoming court included 6th grade princess Kennedy Adkins, escorted by John Paxton,  and princess Roxy Schoolcraft escorted by Briar Dorsey.  Seventh grade princess Cheyenne Adkins was escorted by Matthew Neely, princess Jaedon Delwarte was escorted by Cooper Collins, and princess Kaylee Claypool was escorted by Phillip Rogers.  Eighth grade princess Lainey Nichols was escorted by Brody Scarbro, princess Jayda Stricker was escorted by Cain Atha and princess Alivia Gilliland was escorted by Ayden Grubb.   They all represented the school and their families very well.  Once again, congratulations to the queen and her court.
