A Clay County woman is under arrest after stabbing her fiancee twice in Calhoun County. Sarah Elizabeth Cottrell, 25 of Maysel, allegedly stabbed her fiancee, Brandon Royce McCoy on Sunday. McCoy received two wounds, one in the abdomen and one in the thigh but his injuries were not life threatening. As a result of the incident, Cottrell was arrested and charged with felonious unlawful wounding. She was transported to Central Regional Jail where she is being held on a $20,000 bond.
