The recently updated AARP Drivers Safety Class will be held on the 7th and 8th of August 2014.  This class will be held at the Braxton County Senior Center in the Veterans Conference room, beginning at 12:00 noon and ending at 4:00 pm both days. You must attend both days to complete certification.
This class is open to the public.  We encourage you to pre-register by calling the Senior Center at 304-765-4090 or the instructor at 304-364-8494.  You may register on the first day of class.  However, those who have pre-registered will be given preference if space and materials become an issue.  The building is air conditioned, parking is adequate, and the building is handicap accessible.
AARP members will pay $15.00 and non-members will pay $20.00 for the class.  Please present your AARP card when registering. You will also need to present your driver’s license.
After completing the class you will receive a proof of completion certificate which may be presented to your insurance company to determine a possible reduction in your premium.
Although this class is designed for drivers aged 50 years and over, younger individuals may attend-space permitting.  No alcohol, drugs, or tobacco is permitted at the Senior Center.
