What is it worth to have Clay County Trash and Junk Free

Solid Waste PicWhat is it worth to you to have Clay County virtually trash and junk free? Some influential community members believe it is very important, and have even made donations from their own pocket to make it happen. Mitch DeBoard, of the BDA, started an initiative asking residents of the county to make donations to the Clay County Solid Waste Authority – and it’s working! BDA Vice President Roberta Faile, along with Commissioners Fitzwater, Linkinoggor and Tucker have stepped up to the plate to make donations and now they’re challenging everyone else to do the same. As a matter of fact, the elected officials in the old courthouse, the elected officials in the new courthouse and all of the Board of Education members, including the Superintendent, have been challenged specifically. Show how much you care by sending donations to Clay County Solid Waste Authority today at PO Box 35 Clay, WV 25043.

All monies received will assist with the Spring Clean Up, which is scheduled for May 2nd from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm. Currently the Solid Waste Authority has enough funding to collect a small amount of electronics, household trash, metal and tires but with the help of the community, the amount of trash that can be collected and removed from the area will increase.
