Troopers went in search of William Wright on warrants out of Braxton County, Friday evening. Leads on Wright lead Trooper Ellis and Trooper Bass to 98 Cherokee Drive. Upon arrival, Wright was spotted and attempted to dispose of a white pill container in the yard. Trooper Bass recovered the item and found six baggies of a white powdery substance believed to be methamphetamine. Once Wright was detained Troopers received written consent to search the home and found additional paraphernalia including bags of prescription narcotics and more baggies believed to be meth. Three additional people were taken into custody and charged with possession with intent to deliver and conspiracy to commit a felony against the state. Crystal Burns, Kimberly Samples and Ronald Boggs Jr. were taken to WRJ in Flatwoods. The felony preliminary hearing will be held within 10 days.
