Postage stamps are taking a 3 cent jump, raising the price to .49 cents per stamp. As of Monday, January 26, 2014 mailing a letter or package will cost you a little extra cash. A book of stamps will now run you $9.80. Other postage rates are taking a rate increase also so be sure to check with your local post master or mail carrier for new rates before mailing a package or letter.
