A Beginning Beekeeping class will be offered at New River Community and Technical College’s Nicholas County Campus, starting on Feb. 22.
Fred Williams, a local and experienced beekeeper, will lead the class on Monday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. from Feb. 22 through March 21 at the WorkForce building, 830 Northside Drive in Summersville.
The class will discuss topics including beekeeping equipment, bee biology, installation, and seasonal management.
