Mustang basketball took their show on the road this week to play at Geary Middle School.  It was an air show from JV to the Varsity and was action packed. The defense held Geary to less than 40 points total for both games, and the offense of both JV and Varsity scored 90 points between them.  The net burner award for the JV team was Hunter Jones who played just three quarters but racked up 11 points.  The Varsity team got their game going in the second quarter, scoring 15 unanswered points thus sending the game out of reach for Geary.  Josh Brown was in double digits, ripping the net with 16 points, followed close by Garrett Quinn with 11 points.  The Mustangs look like a championship team on the floor with a lot of speed and skills at the net.   The boys will be on the road this week at Spencer, and if you get the chance, you will not want to miss a game.  The Mustangs only loss this season came at the hands of Summersville Middle School. They will play them again on the February 5th, and it will be a barn burner.
